WPT Season Five Schedule.
The World Poker Tour (WPT) has posted its
Season Five Schedule, this seasons combined prize pools is expected
to exceed $250 Million. This fifth season has a couple of new stops
including the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and second
stop at Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut. The company has parted ways
with its “now” online poker competitors Party Poker and Ultimate Bet
by not including the PartyPoker Millions and Aruba Classic as part
of the tour. WPT launched their own online poker room last year
which could possibly explain why these events are no longer
included; however the PokerStars event remains part of the tour.
